A Journey to Origins
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on our last Cacao Expedition, "A Journey to Origins". As we look into the future for our Cacao Expedition 2024, we reminisce on some of the highlights from our last trip:
Our 2022: Itenarary

 Day 1: Quito We met at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport, had a meet & greet dinner, and treated you to the first of many expansive chocolate tastings!

Day 2: Otavalo We experienced South America’s largest artisan market as well as a Kwicha-owned traditional textile shop!

Day 3: Guayaquil We toured the port city known as the gateway to the Galapagos where the Pacific meets colorful homes, cafes, art galleries and spectacular vistas.

Day 4: Milagro We visited the coastal province, meeting farmers from Unocase and gaining hands-on knowledge about cacao.

Day 5: Vinces  We learned about the importance of the unique and flavor rich Arriba Nacional Cacao in the home of an Heirloom Cacao Preservation site.

Day 6: Puerto Quito We experienced the beauty and majesty of the Ecuadorian Rain Forest and visited a local chocolate museum.

Day 7: Papallacta We took restorative morning at Termas de Papallacta, a Spa fed by Hot Springs nestled in a splendid valley high in the Andes.

Day 8:Quito We met for a tour of the historic city center, a farewell lunch and one last chocolate tasting.
