Product Description

The beloved cacao nib is simply shelled and crushed cocoa beans, after they have been fermented, dried, winnowed, and roasted. These nibs have a very strong delicious chocolate aroma, characteristic of the pure Arriba bean.

Nibs are an excellent source of antioxidants and are often used by chocolatiers as the base ingredient for chocolate. These cocoa nibs can be further roasted to acquire different roasting strengths for different flavor profiles.

They are also typically used as a topping, tea, or as an addition to granola or cookies for a little added crunch and bright chocolate flavor.
