Sharing the Story of Heirloom Cacao Preservation

Conexión Founder Jenny Samaniego will be a panelist in the upcoming Fine Chocolate Industry Association (FCIA) discussion on Heirloom Cacao Preservation on March 11th, 2021. Jenny is honored to be joining other industry experts Matt Caputo of Caputo's Market & Deli, Jacob Marlin of Bfree, and Anne Zaczek of The Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund. Listen in to this enlightening panel to learn about the conservation and reforestation of rare and ancient cacao varieties and how we engage local communities to identify and propagate cacao trees distinctly known for their floral and fruity notes, a criteria for the "heirloom" designation.
